Hanwell is a lovely station that has an old-fashioned charm, reminiscent of the steam engine era. ️ It’s a small and convenient station with easy connections to Heathrow airport and London. Thanks to recent accessibility upgrades, it now seamlessly blends in with the vintage GWR Brown and Cream style. ⏳ The new refurbishments include new platform paving, waiting rooms with heaters, and upgraded entrances. Despite its small size, Hanwell provides access to trains going towards Paddington via Ealing Broadway, Slough/Reading or Heathrow in the other direction. The station is always clean and well-maintained. There are also staff available for assistance when needed.
