Lack of opportunities to make friends from different secondary schools. Mixed opinions on the distance between classes and the walking time required. LSU school/building is described as dull, old, and depressing. ❌ No societies/clubs or “getting to know each other” days mentioned, which may contribute to difficulty in making friends. ✈️ Lack of trips and practical experience reported. Negative experience with virtual work experience week in year 12. Severe sadness, loneliness, and despondency reported leading to academic failure.
