– National Army Museum used to be better than Imperial War Museum, with fascinating displays and lots of information. – Its First World War and Napoleonic galleries were excellent, featuring models, uniforms, weapons, equipment, paintings, and people’s accounts and experiences. – Since the refurbishment, it has become more about concepts and lacks substance compared to the older museum. – The galleries seem confused and give the impression that management is embarrassed by the subject matter. – Some concepts are barely related to the army’s history.
