Queens Park Rangers FC has a rich history, but their most successful period was in the early 1970s. They were challengers for the First Division title in the 1975/76 season, narrowly losing out to Liverpool by one point. In 2007, a new era began with Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone buying a majority share in the club, along with Lakshmi Mittal joining later. This brought both salvation and transformation to QPR. However, this ownership change also led to upheaval, as six managers were fired within two-and-a-half years under Briatore’s leadership. ⚽ Despite the instability, QPR managed to secure promotion to the Premier League in 2011.
