Ruislip (Stop B)

Ruislip (Stop B) is described as an average bus stop with no standout features. ☔️ It does have a roof, which is helpful when it’s raining. ⌛ During peak hours, the busy stop can become a problem due to overcrowding. The U1 bus service between 6pm and 7pm is inconsistent and often delayed by a few minutes. There have been complaints of drivers parking and leaving the bus upon arrival, only to drive past with a “Not in Service” sign when they return. This wastes around 10+ minutes for passengers waiting. ⏱️ Waiting times for the bus can range from 25 to 30 minutes, and if you catch it from another stop, it may already be packed with people. The poor Piccadilly line service coupled with these delays can make commutes home take well over an hour instead of the previous estimate of 45 minutes
