Slade Green train station is in need of a face lift and more staff. However, there are hopes that the extension of Crossrail to Slade Green will improve the area in the future. Some people think that Slade Green is one of the best places they have ever been to, with surreal surroundings. On the downside, there seems to be a lack of staff members, and some reviewers have complained about a stinky subway passage. Despite its shortcomings, others appreciate the efforts made by hardworking staff members to keep the station clean. The recent reopening of toilets for customer use is seen as an added bonus. Limited parking (including disabled parking) is available at a charge. Bus stops outside provide connections to various destinations such as Woolwich, Lewisham, Bexleyheath, and Bluewater. Som
