South Wimbledon is a normal underground station served by the Northern line. The ticket hall area is average in size and there are four ticket barriers to use. The station is generally clean, but there are no lifts available, only stairs and escalators to the platforms. Some reviewers mentioned that the station has nice Art Deco features, while others found it interesting that the platform seems to be on a bend. ⏰ The station can feel quite long since it’s situated near the end of what was previously the longest tunnel in the London Underground system.
