Thornton Heath Train Station – Southern Railway

‍ Staff is generally helpful, but the station has some issues due to being in a typical London borough of Lambeth. The steps onto the trains can be quite high and there is a significant gap to navigate. Most of the trains run from platform one. The Southern service connecting to London Victoria is clean with better hygiene washrooms compared to other trains. Recommended for those heading to London Bridge or Victoria. ☕ There is a small coffee shop in the station which offers reasonable prices compared to other stations. The station has lifts, books, seating areas, mosaics, and views. It may not be aesthetically pleasing with security fences and rubble piles but it’s convenient for shops and train services. Opposite the station, you can find a delicious authentic Jamaican food stall cooking
