Uxbridge Station is conveniently located in the middle of Uxbridge High Street, near shopping centers and the main bus station, making it easily accessible. The station mainly serves the Metropolitan Line, with some Piccadilly Line trains also stopping there. Changing at Rayner’s Lane is recommended for those wanting to switch lines. Some nearby businesses, like Paperchase and a milkshake shop, have unfortunately closed down over time. One reviewer mentioned living in Uxbridge for 5 years but preferred moving to zone 2 as they felt it was more “Londony” for them. However, this is a personal preference and shouldn’t offend anyone who enjoys Uxbridge.
