Wanstead Park

Wanstead Park train station is not highly regarded, as it is described as hidden away and lacking in disabled access. Forest Gate train station, located only 5 minutes away, is considered a better alternative. The station has an Overground service and is typically quiet, but the intervals between trains can be longer (around 15 minutes). One reviewer expressed disappointment with the lack of assistance they received when struggling with a buggy. On the positive side, the station appears clean and modern despite its small size. There are several shops and cafes nearby, making it convenient for commuters. However, one customer was disappointed to find out that their ticket did not cover a return trip from Wanstead Park to South End.
